Our Doctor

Dr. Funmilayo Aranmolate is a Community Outreach Optometrist. She graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. Later, she earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, OH. As a former Air Force Officer in the Aerospace Medical Squadron, she provided stellar eye care to the men, women, and families of all United States Armed Forces branches. She was an active-duty optometrist who completed multiple humanitarian missions around the world, treating eye conditions for the underserved.

Dr. Aranmolate's new mission is to promote healthy eyes. She provides glasses, vision screenings, and eye health education to underserved kids, adults, and veterans. She collaborates with another nonprofit to provide eye exams to uninsured Georgians. In addition, she volunteers with Georgia State Golf Association’s Adaptative Golf Program. Her personal motto is “Your eyes may allow you to see 20/20 and, your vision will allow you to see the world.”

Dr. Aranmolate is thrilled at the opportunity to pour into the vision of See Georgia Eyecare Foundation by delivering skilled and heartfelt eye care to optimize the quality of life for those in need in the Atlanta metro community and abroad.
